In the never ending battle of likes/dislikes with Netflix, I'm getting annoyed with all of their "short waiting" the things at the top of my list. I understand a bit more with Dear Frankie as it was a brand new movie. But I don't understand with Under the Tuscan Sun, which I bumped to the top because its only on my list so mother can see it, and it would make the most sense to do that while I am still at home.

Yesterday's creation of the day:Peach-Rhubarb Kuchen. It's delicious, although I don't know how soon I am likely to repeat the creation, as I don't usually have rhubarb around. It also has alcohol in it :D

See my new icon? Its a bit pink for me, but I'll support any Quidditch team that plays near the greatest chefs in the wizarding world.

Netflix

Chris and I subscribed to Netflix a while ago, and until recently, had no problems with it.

Now, for some reason, we're only getting two movies at a time, instead of the three-at-a-time we signed up for. We'll get two movies at once, then get the last movie a few days later.

It only recently started happening this way...we were receiving all three at once. Hmmm..

Now Blockbuster is starting a similar program. Unfortunately, they don't have as big a selection as Netflix. Under the Tuscan Sun is a great movie, btw. I have a copy of it and have watched it several times. It just keeps getting better.

Re: Netflix

Oh, I've seen it twice, the only reason I am getting it again is because mom wants to watch it.

I never get all three at once. I don't want to. I stagger the order I send them back in so that I can always have something coming. It gives me the maximum chance to see as much as possible and pull the price down on the films.

Where are your movies shipped from? Indy?

Re: Netflix

As far as I know, yes. The movies come from Indy.

Normally, I would agree with your staggering the movies, but in our case we need all three at once. Good ol' Bloomington doesn't have any local television channels, so you either have to pay for DirecTV or deal with just PBS.

We opted out of cable, and I must say that I'm growing quite fond of Antiques Roadshow and the crazy late-night British comedy shows!
